Psalm 92:5-6
As I sit here marveling in wonder at the water flowing over the 104' DeSoto Falls in Mentone, Alabama, I cant help but be amazed at the power of the creation of God Almighty. I have always been amazed at the power of water and the beauty of waterfalls. I have visited just a small fraction of them here in the US and I am always blown away at how strong yet calming a waterfall can be.

While the creation of God is certainly a work, it is not God's only work. Notice the last half of verse 5 where we see that his thoughts are very deep. There are two aspects of this:
1. God's thoughts towards us are precious and overwhelming. We see this truth further in Psalm 40:5 and Psalm 139:17. How amazing is it that the Creator of the universe still thinks about us? Just take a moment, reflect on this, and allow his mercy to flow over you.
2. It would be a mistake to assume we can understand God and know exactly what he is thinking and/or wants. God reveals to us what he wants us to know and what we should be doing; however, we should not be mistaken to think that this is all there is to God. The KJV uses the word deep to describe Gods thoughts. We live today in the age of discovery, yet David realizes there are things of God which we as humans are incapable of discovering.
Conclusion:
The word brutish in verse 6 means senseless. As Christians, we becomes senseless when we forget that the Everlasting Father is always thinking thoughts of kindness towards us and he is always working on our behalf. This is of course not to make us or our effort great, but for His names sake. The more we trust in Him the more mighty the work he does. Everyday we struggle with keeping this truth in our hearts, yet we always have the opportunity to turn the senseless into the sensible. Seek God - trust him with all that your are. Love Others - put others first. Grow Everyday - don't get stuck in yesterday, look for today's opportunity to grow.
GOD FOCUSED
LOVE DRIVEN GROWTH CENTERED.
We are all in this together, pray for one another.
